Padri Thomas Nahimana
Padri Thomas Nahimana has both a Rwandan and French citizenship. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Theology (Rome), a Master Degree in Philosophy (University of Rouen, France) and is finishing a dissertation for a PhD of Law (Le Havre Normandie University, France), hoping to defend his thesis in the Spring of 2025.
Over the years, Padri Thomas Nahimana has undertaken a variety of roles including being a Catholic Priest, an Analyst, a Professor of Labor Law at “Institut Supérieur Professionnel de Normandie” (ISPN), in France and a Professor of Political Philosophy at African Institute of Public Administration ( AIPA). He hosts political and diverse social shows daily through his YouTube channels such as ISINIJURU TV & The Highest Media. He currently also undertakes mediation activities through the "Thomas International Mediation Center" which can be found at: https://www.thomasmediation.org/.
Padri Thomas Nahimana has been very vocal about politics of the African Great Lakes Region in general and Rwandan politics in particular. For that purpose, he took the decision to enter a political career in about 2010, founding a political party called “Ishema” and thereafter, the Rwandan People’s Government in Exile (GREX), which he has been presiding since February 2017 to this day. He was a presidential candidate for the 2017 and 2024 elections, but resides in France. The GREX team which he leads is composed of a Prime Minister, two Vice-Prime Ministers, 33 Ministers, a team of Judiciary composed of Judges, and a team of Members of Parliament.
