The Hon. Paul de Jersey was Chief Justice of Queensland for 16 years until 2014 then Governor of the State for 7 years until 2021. In retirement he has served as a part time Judge of Appeal in the Kingdom of Tonga. From that perspective he will speak of the significance of Australian and New Zealand judicial support for Pacific nations.
