Dr. Greta Nabbs-Keller
Associate Director of Defence, Space and National Security at University of QueenslandIn her current role as Associate Director of Defence, Space and National Security at the University of Queensland's Research Partnerships Office, Greta is responsible for senior level partnership management, positioning the university for strategic investments, and growing the university’s collaborations across the defence, space and national security sectors. Greta has more than thirty years of professional experience working on Australia’s bilateral relationship with Indonesia across defence policy, international engagement, intelligence, consulting, research and capacity building roles. Greta maintains a network of contacts across both the Indonesian and Australian defence, foreign policy and thinktank communities and has advanced proficiency in Indonesian. She continues to share her in-depth country knowledge on Indonesia and broader Indo-Pacific strategic issues through contributions to journals, strategic dialogues, thinktanks and media supported by research affiliations with UQ Centre for Policy Futures and Griffith Asia Institute.
Benjamin Seumahu
Committee Member at Australian Indonesia Business Council (Queensland Chapter)Ben Seumahu co-leads the Indonesian focus of KPMG’s Asian and International Markets business. Ben is of mixed Indonesian Australia heritage, and has worked with the firm delivering professional services, including advisory and audit related services to a wide range of industries, including agribusiness, financial services and energy and natural resources in both Australia and Indonesia (including a secondment to the Indonesian firm). Ben is on the Queensland committee of the Australian Indonesian Business Council, which is focused on supporting businesses to further develop trade with Indonesia, and assists in organising events. Ben also is a member of Basudara Maluku, a not for profit group focused on identifying and encouraging development in Eastern Indonesia.
Dr. Ahmad Rizky M. Umar
Lecturer at University of Queensland School of Political Science and International StudiesAhmad Rizky M. Umar is a lecturer at the School of Political Science and International Studies, University of Queensland, where he completed his PhD on the idea of 'Asia' in world politics. He is an expert in Indonesia's foreign policy and Southeast Asian regionalism. He occasionally writes for several media outlets and academic journals, including Lowy Institute's The Interpreter, Indonesia at Melbourne, The Jakarta Post, International Affairs, and Canada-based International Journal. Prior to his PhD, he worked as researcher and executive secretary at ASEAN Studies Center, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
