Usukhbold Chimedregzen worked as a Manager at the International Laboratory School of the Ministry of Education and Cambridge International Examinations in Mongolia. He also served as a Country Director for the Blue-Sky Education Projects, a USA-based educational NGO that supports disadvantaged children in rural Mongolia. He has a BA in Political Science from the National University of Mongolia (NUM) and a Master of Educational Studies from the UQ. He is currently working on his ARC funded PhD project at the Queensland University of Technology. His research interests lie in the area of education policy, the sociology of education and the socio-economic conditions of teaching.
Nicholas Millward served as a Captain in the US Marine Corps. He was the Executive Officer for Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Pacific and a Company Commander for the 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Upon leaving the military he started a Master of Arts in Central Asian Studies at the American University of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan. Pausing that program, he is now a Rotary Peace Fellow at UQ, earning a Masters of Peace and Conflict Studies. Nick serves as the American Director of Friends of Mongolia, YCAP’s Director of Mongolia Connect, and an AIIA Next Gen Leader.
